SurfWax Inc. formed as new corporation to develop and market proprietary SurfWax knowledge search and capture technology.
Redwood City, Calif., June 30, 2000 -- VORT Corporation announced today that it has completed transfer of all SurfWax.com intellectual property and assets to a newly created company, SurfWax, Inc. "SurfWax, Inc. will provide us with the vehicle for fully realizing and implementing our comprehensive and exciting SurfWax technology. SurfWax offers a unique controlled-vocabulary to help users compose their search, a patent-pending method for using multiple search sources, along with patent-pending technologies for distilling, capturing, and sharing knowledge content," states Thomas D. Holt, CEO of SurfWax, Inc.
